Step into the elegance of old Japan with a full geisha, maiko, or samurai transformation experience. For the geisha or maiko plan, the makeover begins with traditional makeup: the face and neck are carefully whitened, followed by classic eyeliner, red eyeshadow, and lipstick. Then, you’ll choose from a stunning collection of ornate kimonos in every color of the rainbow—many embroidered with gold and silver threads—along with a perfectly matched obi belt. Dressing in kimono is an art in itself, involving special undergarments, sashes, collars, and accessories.

During the photo shoot, a professional photographer will guide you on graceful poses—how to hold an umbrella or handbag, how to tilt your head, and how to arrange your hands. You’ll receive several professional shots, and you’re also welcome to take your own photos on your camera or phone.
