Near the famous Kenroku-en Garden, Kanazawa’s top attraction, lies the cozy Wakita family garden, from a well-known samurai clan of the Kaga region. At the heart of the garden is the oldest tea house in Kanazawa. Here, in a tranquil corner surrounded by a beautiful garden, a tea master will conduct a Sado-style tea ceremony, one of the most cherished traditions of Japan.
During the ceremony, matcha tea—known for its subtle bitterness—is served with traditional wagashi sweets, designed to complement and enhance the true flavor of the tea. Enjoy an unforgettable experience and a personal encounter with Japanese culture.
