The tour includes: Arashiyama Historic District – Tenryuji Temple – Togetsukyo Bridge – 1,200 Arhats at Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple – Rakusai Park – Bamboo Museum

During the tour you can:

• Immerse yourself in the charm of old Kyoto in the historic Arashiyama district, popular with locals
• Visit Tenryuji Temple, one of Kyoto’s five most famous Zen temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site
• Enjoy the view of the mountains and river from Togetsukyo Bridge, also called the “Moon Crossing Bridge”
• Discover the expressive faces of over a thousand Arhats at Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple, founded by Empress Shotoku in the mid-8th century
• Stroll through a quiet, off-the-beaten-path area of Kyoto (Nishike-ku) at peaceful Rakusai Park, home to more than 100 species of bamboo
• Explore the Bamboo Museum and see a wall featuring all bamboo varieties from Kyoto, plus unique crafts and artifacts made from this iconic plant
