Tour duration: 6–7 hours. Transfer from Osaka: 30 minutes.
The tour includes: Katsuoji Temple – Mino Waterfall – Arima Onsen.
During the tour you will:
- Make a wish at Katsuoji Temple, famous not only for its stunning scenery but also for its countless daruma dolls, symbols of good luck and fulfilled wishes.
- Walk through a “fairy-tale” forest trail leading to the Mino Waterfall (Note: The walk to the waterfall takes around 45 minutes. Suitable footwear and a reasonable level of fitness are needed).
- Enjoy maple leaves in autumn or refreshing greenery in summer.
- Stroll through the famous hot spring town of Arima Onsen.
- Relax at a thermal spa resort (The facility offers two areas: swimsuit-friendly mixed baths, and classic onsen baths enjoyed without clothing) in one of the area’s top hotels (optional extra charge – 4,200 yen / USD 40 per person, children under 6 free).
Important notes:
- The guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby in Osaka and return you to your hotel in Osaka/Arima (extra charge applies for hotels in other areas) or Shin-Osaka Station.
- Swimsuits are required for the general spa area; tattoos are strictly prohibited.
