The tour includes: Todaiji Temple Complex – Deer Park – Former Merchant’s House – Sake Brewery

Highlights:

• Stroll through the vast grounds of the ancient Todaiji Temple complex with its many halls and pavilions.
• Marvel at the majestic 15-meter Great Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal inside the main hall.
• Feed the friendly, free-roaming deer at Nara Deer Park.
• Discover traditional Japanese lifestyle inside the Former Merchant’s House (closed on Wednesdays)**.
• Learn how sake is crafted and enjoy a tasting at a family-owned sake brewery.

Important Notes:

• The guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Kyoto/Osaka/Nara and return you to the same hotel (additional fee required for hotels in other areas).
• If the Former Merchant’s House is closed, the visit will be automatically replaced with Kasuga Taisha Shrine without prior notice.
