What you’ll experience:

• Take a ferry to the sacred island of Miyajima, where for centuries no one was allowed to be born or buried.
• Visit the jewel of the island, Itsukushima Shrine—one of Japan’s most iconic and scenic sites.
• Ride the ropeway to the top of Mt. Misen for breathtaking panoramic views.
• Taste freshly grilled local oysters and meet Miyajima’s friendly “sacred” deer (optional, additional cost).
• Stroll through Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park with its cenotaph and eternal Flame of Peace.
• See the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, preserved as a stark reminder of 1945, and view thousands of origami cranes dedicated to Sadako Sasaki.
• Visit the Peace Memorial Museum to learn about the tragedy of the atomic bombing and its message for future generations.
