Highlights:
- Ascend to 2,300 meters at Mt. Fuji’s Fifth Station and watch the clouds drift beneath you.
- Browse souvenir shops at one of the mountain’s most iconic stops (vehicle access closed in climbing season; final 10 min by shuttle bus).
- Take in sweeping views of Fuji and its surrounding lakes (visibility depends on weather).
- Explore Iyashino-Sato Folk Village, an open-air museum showcasing traditional crafts and rural life.
- Try hands-on activities: make a washi paper lantern or postcard, or dress in an elegant silk kimono for a memorable photo with Mt. Fuji (optional, extra fee).
- Relax in a rejuvenating onsen hot spring (note: tattoos strictly prohibited) or enjoy a scenic stroll.
- Ride the Kachi-Kachi Ropeway for a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from its observation deck (clear weather only).
